    Helen Booth, born in Burton on Trent in 1967, is an accomplished artist currently based in West Wales. She completed her Fine Art Painting degree at Wimbledon School of Art in 1989. Her artistic journey has been significantly shaped by a residency at the Hafnarborg Arts and Culture Centre in Iceland, supported by Wales Arts International.

     

    Booth's work has garnered substantial recognition, earning her awards from prestigious institutions such as the Pollock Krasner Foundation and the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation. These accolades have facilitated intense creative periods in her studio, leading to the development of her distinctive style.

     

    In 2023, Helen Booth held a major solo exhibition at Oriel Davies. She regularly exhibits with Richeldis Fine Art, Loughran Gallery, and Wilson Stephens and Jones. Additionally, her work is available through Holly Hunt Design in the United States.

     

    Her art has been featured in prominent publications including It's a Passion Thing, The Western Mail, Homes and Gardens, and Glynn Vivian Magazine. Booth has also received several notable prizes, such as the Welsh Based Artist Prize from the Friends of the Glynn Vivian Gallery and the BEEP International Painting Prize Biennial in Swansea.

     

    Helen Booth's work is held in private collections around the world, reflecting her global appeal and the universal resonance of her artistic vision.

The Gottlieb Foundation serves as a vital lifeline, enabling artists to continue their artistic practice and thrive in their chosen medium.
